Sausage and chorizo pasta

Chicken sausage and chorizo pasta in a chilli and tomato sauce


- 3 Heck chicken chipolatas 

- Chorizo sausage (15g) 

- Farfalle pasta (75g) 

- Chopped tomatoes (1/2 can)

- Tomato puree 

- Onion/Shallots 

- Garlic 

- Chicken stock 

- Olive oil (1 tsp) 

- Pepper 

- Paprika 

- Chilli flakes 

- Mixed herbs 




Start off by finely chopping up the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a frying pan and chuck in chopped ingredients, fry for 3-4 minutes on a medium/high heat.

Chop up the chipolatas and chorizo and chuck into the frying pan, fry until they start to brown. 

Add the chopped tomatoes and season the sauce with pepper, paprika, chilli flakes and mixed herbs (or seasoning of your choice).

Add a squirt of tomato puree and 1/2 a stock cube in 100ml of boiled water to the frying pan. 

Allow to simmer for 20 minutes.

In this time you can cook your pasta according to the instructions. Once the pasta is cooked to your liking, you can add to the sauce, mix and serve.
